Why is this glass upside down in this bowl and what does it contain? The photo came from a Peking duck restaurant in Beijing.... but no descriptions!

McMullen arrival

Uncle Bun, sitting next to Matt Yakich, as the McMullens arrive at Jake Edwards'. You can see in the back Andrew with Abby, and Hannah in stripes. Rachel is just to the left of her. Aunt Becky has gone up to meet them. We ended up with the room all to ourselves! Woo hoo.

The Next Generation

OK.. here are the grandkids... at least some of them. Hannah thinks it is Texas, but it's really COLD! And they had just opened the dining room in Jake Edwards, so it was cold too. Janis and Abby: "Is that a bug?"

Sophia Hope McMullen is here sporting a hand-knitted chapeau from her Aunt Becky. Do not let the apparent large size of her head frighten you. It is all yarn. Trust me. It's the latest thing in babywear this year.

Back again

Well, here it is August already. The heat has held off most of the summer. But man, the rain! At least the tomatoes are happy.

I hope I can get some more pictures posted. Also, Yvette visited Mom and Dad (Betty and Kenneth) in Macau this summer and sent some great pictures. I'll share some of those too, as soon as they are somewhat organized. I've got some new software that helps to view and organize them on the computer, and I'm learning how to use it.

It's Katie Beth's 16th birthday today so all I hear is how much she wants to go get her driver's license! So stay tuned for more stuff... pictures too.

Cornhole

Here's a good picture of the Cornhole "court." You can see everyone with their "cornbags" ready for tossing into the holes on the slantboards. The Fondales made the boards. Scoring is similar to Washers or Horseshoes.
